CBQA Symposium is for pathologists, trainees, technicians/technologists, and laboratory scientists, laboratory accreditation bodies, provincial stakeholders, and industry partners.

The focus on clinically important and emerging biomarkers is intended to add value to your practice.

The Symposium brings together worldwide renowned international experts to present the latest developments in clinical biomarker testing and proficiency testing and is of interest for pathologists, pathology residents, technologists, and scientists from around the world. State-of-the-art lectures focus on the integration of relevant methodologies in the context of newly developed concepts for biomarker quality assurance. In addition, two lectures will be devoted to practical implementation of image analysis that are now feasible for all laboratories including laboratories with limited resources or limited expertise in information technology.

The goal of the Symposium is to translate ongoing highly complex developments in clinical biomarker testing as well as proficiency testing into practical solutions for both, laboratories that are conducting the testing and pathologists who read and interpret the results of the testing.
